We at the NNHF fund development programmes that improve access to care for people with haemophilia and allied bleeding disorders in the developing world.
Through these programmes we have trained over 30,350 healthcare professionals. We have provided educational materials and workshops to 33,750 patients and their families to enable them to better understand the condition. Over 22,000 patients have been newly diagnosed or retested to have their diagnosis confirmed and nearly all are registered in national haemophilia registries.
Our programmes consist of projects and awards. They focus on at least one of the following areas: capacity building, diagnosis and registry, and education and empowerment.
