And the winner is...
We are delighted to announce that the NNHF Council has selected India 7 as the 2019 NNHF Project of the Year. This award goes to the project which has demonstrated outstanding dedication, excellent project management, stakeholder involvement and sustainable impact.
Our Council was particularly impressed by the project’s success in teaming up with multiple stakeholders, and taking a multi-faceted approach to achieving the very much needed creation of a physiotherapy network in India.
By involving authorities, healthcare professionals and the patient organisation, the project has created a registry and musculoskeletal (MSK) care guidelines. Project partner Dr Pamela Narayan mobilised an expert team to train physiotherapists from 12 centres across India. They will go on to train others in the region, increasing the reach of the project’s impact.
