NNHF Fellowship Guidelines

• Purpose
The NNHF offers 4 Fellowships per year, each with a value of Swiss Francs (CHF) 25,000, for specialised medical training. This is for further education of physicians, nurses and laboratory technicians from developing countries in centres of choice which have specialty knowledge and are able to provide training capacity.

• Eligibility
The person applying for the Fellowship should have a recommendation by another person or persons with a professional standing, such as the applicant's direct superior, the Head of a hospital/university department, and the Chief Executive of a hospital or Dean of a university. The application should state why the training is necessary, what purpose it will serve the candidate and the community after completion, and be accompanied by a CV. Furthermore the candidate has to provide a confirmation letter of the hosting institute approving the time and duration as well as the content of the Fellowship.
