NNHF Community Award Guidelines
Purpose
NNHF offers an annual award to the value of CHF 16,000 for an outstanding activity which has been executed in the past year resulting in an improvement of haemophilia care and treatment in the developing world. The improvement should be demonstrated through achievements in the areas such as capacity building, infrastructure improvement, awareness creation, disease consequences prevention, sponsoring, social activity, or fundraising and have a long term impact on the haemophilia community in developing and transition countries.
Eligibility
The NNHF Community Award will be presented to any natural person who has made an outstanding contribution or service towards the haemophilia community.
Candidates may be private or professional individuals or representatives of a group, who must be recommended NNHF by a third party and cannot apply him/herself.

The submission deadline for the NNHF Community Award is: 31 May 2010
Decision
NNHF management is in charge of selecting the winner.
Recognition
The winner will be informed by the NNHF management and published on our website.
At this years WFH congress in Buenos Aires in July 2010, the winner will be announced on the NNHF booth and published in the Haemophilia Journal after the congress. Finally, there will be an award ceremony in the winner's country.
