NNHF Project Application Procedure



  • NNHF programmes include for instance awards, fellowships and projects focusing on capacity building, awareness creation and diagnosis and registries. Project applicants should use the NNHF project application form.
  • The structure of the project should adhere to general project management principles, i.e.
  • The application should be based on a project plan with defined activities, deliverables, timelines, responsibilities and clear budget allocation.
  • Ensure delivery of clear results within the first year.
  • Project needs to prove sustainability and should be concentrated initially on one centre rather than several centres.
  • National or regional projects may be carried out upon separate application, after local or single-centre pilot projects have been successfully accomplished.
  • There is no general limitation in length of time; periods of one to three years are preferred project durations.
  • The preferred application language is English.
  • The application needs to be signed by the applicant and the applicant’s head of department/institute/organisation.

The application needs to be endorsed and signed by:

  • Local health authority or ministry of health
  • Local haemophilia society if included in the project

Applications for a project must reach the foundation at the latest 12 weeks before a Council meeting. The dates of NNHF Council meetings can be found here.
