The Novo Nordisk Haemophilia Foundation is striving for access to care
The Novo Nordisk Haemophilia Foundation (NNHF) was established in 2005 as a grant-making non-profit organisation in Zurich, Switzerland. Its purpose is to address the significant need for improving care for people with haemophilia and allied bleeding disorders.
An estimated 75% of the people with haemophilia and allied bleeding disorders reside in the developing world, where many go undiagnosed and are inadequately treated. We at the foundation want to change this and envision that one day every person with such a condition will have equal access to care.
Our approach is to partner with local and international community members to create life-changing impact through NNHF funded development programmes.

How is NNHF structured and governed?
As a grant-making foundation, NNHF adheres to high foundation governance standards. We are governed by the Foundation Council and operationally managed by the NNHF Team
