Leif Fenger Jensen, Corporate Vice President, Corporate People & Organisation, Novo Nordisk HQ Denmark has been with Novo Nordisk since 1992 and has had several managerial positions in the company.

Currently Leif is working as Head of the Performance Management and Global Rewards area in Corporate People & Organisation. He is also Vice Chairman of the Board of the World Diabetes Foundation (WDF).  

From 2007 to 2010 he was the Strategic Operations VP, International Operations, in Zurich. Before he was working in Athens as the Strategic Operations Director for the Regional Office for Africa and Gulf.

From 2001 to 2005, Leif was the inaugural Managing Director of the WDF, a Foundation initiated by Novo Nordisk to help people with diabetes in the developing world. WDF is an approved charity foundation located in Denmark.

From 1996 and 2001, Leif was working as Regional Finance & HR Director in the Asia Pacific Centre located in Singapore covering the area from India in the West, Korea in the North and New Zealand in the South-East. In this position, he was also the overall Country Manager with responsibility for Indonesia, Myanmar, Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos.

Leif has a Master degree in Economics and is a Danish citizen.
